Langhe Freisa DOC
Freisa
The name points at “Langhe”, but this Freisa is all Roero. And compared with its fellow vines growing on the other bank of the Tanaro river, it is light, fruity, lively, faithful to the original grape which in the piedmontese countryside identifies the wine to taste in good company. It comes from 80-year-old historical vines.
To enhance the floral and fruity notes of its grapes, we produce it using carbonic maceration. This technique helps develop the aromatic component of the wine, which in Freisa vines is already quite intense and which here picks up notes of strawberries and raspberries. This Freisa respects the tradition of a young, easy and convivial wine.
