Roero Arneis DOCG Bricco Delle Ciliegie

Arneis

Born in 1982 on a vineyard close to the cascina, old property of the family, on a gravelly site, rich in clay and limestone too, Roero Arneis Bricco delle Ciliegie owes his name to the nice cherry trees planted at the border with the forest, ancient orchard of the family.

The vineyard, located at 390 m of altitude, is also one of the highest elevations of Roero: from its summit, or Bricco, surrounded by fresh woods, you can see Monviso and Monte Rosa; a constant breeze blows. The vines have an average age of 40 years and the fruit they give always shows anticipated maturity and terrific freshness and acidity, going beyond the tipicity of Arneis grape.

The ageing, in stainless steel vats, exalts a pure style.
